The desert is in bloom. It has been really fun watching it. I have taken many photos of cactus, many of them blooming. The saguaro are just growing their buds. I'll be in New Mexico when they bloom and miss their bloom. Did you know that Saguaro only grow and inch or two a year. They live to be about 200 - 300 years old. And they don't get their arms until they are about 75 years old. They can grow to 40 feet high (4 floors on some buildings)
