Commissioned Pet Portraits

A pet portrait commission starts out with a consultation.   Either in person or on the phone.  I will ask what you would like, where it will hang, what size you want and I can tell you about what's needed in a reference photo.  After determining the size, we can agree on what you want, then you will pay 50% down.  I take Venmo, Square or PayPal.

I will need the reference photo, that can be emailed to me.   (If you live on Camano Island, Stanwood, Arlington, or Mount Vernon, Washington,  I would be happy to come and take the reference photo for you at no cost)  If this is an “In Memory” painting, I will do the best I can from the photo you have.

Pet Portraits are painted from a photo on my computer or iPad using a stylus pen.  I use the stylus just like I use a paint brush. Before I start painting on your pet portrait, I will edit the color and sharpness to prepare it for painting.   I use your photo under the painting so I can refer back to it for all the details that make your pet so unique.

When finished painting I will email you a copy to get your approval before sending to a printer for printing.   The painting will then be printed onto gallery wrapped canvas and shipped to your home.  Your painting comes with a "floating frame" in the color of your choice.
